Types of Memorials
Here is a general list of the different styles of memorials to see which style will best fit you. Each style can have different finishes for the polishing on the memorial. Price varies depending on the style and finish of each memorial.
Flat Marker
Flat Marker: Style of memorial which sits either flat on top of a concrete foundation, or is set flush with ground level. Flat Markers usually have a standard thickness of 4”.

Bevel Marker
Bevel Marker: Style of memorial which sits on top of a concrete foundation and is taller in the back and shorter in the front to create the beveled look.

Style of memorial which sits on top of a concrete foundation and is taller in the back and shorter in the front to create the beveled look. (Example: Average bevel markers are 6” tall in the back and 4” tall in front to give you a 2” bevel; however you can go taller with the proportions.)
Slant Faced Marker
Style of memorial in-between a marker and upright. Slant Faced memorials are thicker at the bottom and thinner at the top to create the slanted look.

As you are standing in front of the memorial, it has a slanted face with a straight back. Most slants have a balanced rock-pitched (rough) nose at the bottom that adds protection to the memorial. There are different options for how the top of the slant can be shaped (Serpentine, Oval, Flat, etc.).

Style of memorial which consist of at least a top piece (tablet or die), and bottom piece (base), and sits on top of a concrete foundation.

The most common tablets have a serpentine (slightly curved) top. There are different options for how the top of the tablet can be shaped (Serpentine, Oval, Flat, etc.).
Custom Shapes
Style of memorial which is usually more elaborate and shaped different than the standard 2 piece upright.
Custom Shaped Marker
Style of memorial which is usually more elaborate and shaped different than the standard 2 piece upright. Good examples would be any sculpted Angel memorial (many options), heart shaped memorials (single heart, double hearts, stacked double hearts), scalloped memorials (curved cuts on the perimeter of the memorial to create the “scalloped” look), are a few good examples. In today’s world, the sky is the limit as far as shapes are concerned. If you want to be more creative and hands on, we encourage you to draw a shape and bring it in to us! As long as it meets cemetery requirements we can work with you to help you create a “one-of-a-kind” memorial.

Essentially it’s a bevel marker with a hollowed out core to place the ashes in, and it has a polished top lid on top to engrave the individuals information. †

Style of cremation bench which has a flat seat on top to sit on and has “doors” on the front and back with columns on each end to house the urns/ashes. †
† We are able to seal the doors and top permanently after the final ashes are placed. There is an opening and closing fee to put ashes in at a later date after we set the memorial.
